I have always loved watching movies and I even still have a few of my favorite movies from when I was younger. Granted, those are on the old VCR tapes (remember those? yep, showing my age here) and I mainly have them stored away in a box now. Watching movies has always been an enjoyable past time, whether hanging out with friends, spending time with family or enjoying a late night movie on nights I couldn’t sleep during hubby’s deployment. Things have come a long way from those old VCR tapes. Now I can watch movies on my laptop, we enjoy watching movies on the Wii, and best of all…Movies On Demand! Movies On Demand is available through your digital cable and allows you to watch movies with a simple click. Plus you can pause, fast forward and rewind! We love Movies On Demand, being able to pause a movie when its time to get the baby ready for bed is awesome!! Movies On Demand is perfect for busy parents still wanting to be able to have a “date night at the movies”, you can watch an awesome movie in the comfort of home when little ones are tucked in for the night. No having to find a babysitter or trying to schedule movie times between dinner, bath, bed and cranky time.

Another reason I love Movies On Demand is that during Awards Season, viewers can actually watch the Academy Awards nominee films before the actual ceremony February 27th. I love the idea of being able to watch the movies and picking my favorites! Since I don’t often have much time for movies, I enjoy reading about the nominees in my magazines and then watching the movies I read about. I love sharing my opinions about my favorites so I take time to watch the nominees so I can add my thoughts to conversations with friends…and I’m sure everyone else would love to be able to as well!
