With warm weather quickly approaching it can only mean one thing…its time to toss the sneakers to the back of the closet and pull out my flip flops and sandels. I love wearing flip flops and usually just going barefoot during this time of year. The one downfall…ugly looking toenails lol. Yep, its also time to find some pretty, playful nail polish colors and get my toes ready for flip flop season. I honestly haven’t painted my nails since having my daughter. I always hated the smell of nail polish and I definitely didn’t want that harsh smell around her. Plus I simply don’t have time to sit and wait while the polish dries. My daughter is one busy little girl and I don’t have the spare minutes to just sit around doing nothing (besides the fact that I would have to protect my toes and the wet paint from her curiousity!).
Since I am so obessed with flip flops, I decided to try and find a nail polish that I actually felt comfortable using around my daughter. That’s when I came across Piggy Paint. Piggy Paint is a natural, non-toxic nail polish that is ordorless and hypoallergenic. This sounded like exactly what I needed so I decided to look around and find out more. The more I read, the more I knew that Piggy Paint was the nail polish I was looking for.
Piggy Paint is specially formulated from God’s natural ingredients and dries to a hard, durable finish. There are no toxic chemicals; it’s free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, Bisphenol A, ethyl acetate and acetone. Click here to see how our polish compares!
Say good-bye to harsh, smelly chemicals and hello to Piggy Paint…it’s as Natural as Mud!

Piggy Paint is:
*Fun, vibrant colors

I love that not only is Piggy Paint safe for me to use around my daughter, its safe enough for me to let my niece experiment with. My niece adores wearing nail polish and now we finally have one that safe for her to use. While my daughter is still too young to wear the polish, Piggy Paint will provide a fun, unique way for her to develop her fine motor skills by painting mommy’s (and daddy’s! lol) toe nails as well as a creative way to teach her the names of colors!
Piggy Paint offers a wide variety of fun, bright colors such as Sweetpea, Mac-n-Cheese Please, Ice Cream Dream, Girls Rule!, Twinkle Toes and Forever Fancy.
Since choosing just one color to try would be close to impossible, there are fun gift sets available, like the Sea Princess gift set.
This fun gift set helps you get your piggies ready for the sea with the vibrant colors Forever Fancy (bright pink), Clouds of Candy (light blue), and Dragon Tears (pastel green). There’s also Piggy Paint Project Earth which consists of bright neon colors formulated for tweens concerned about Mother Earth. This line includes colors such as Solar Power, LOL, Drama and Radioactive (which glows in the dark!).
And for those of us that prefer more “grown up” colors, Piggy Paint offers their Refined Line. There is definitely something for everyone!
I was delighted to have the opportunity to review a couple of Piggy Paint’s polishes and, with all the great colors to choose from, I let the company surprise me. I received Angel Kisses and Sea-quin, two colors absolutely perfect for my personality. The hardest part was figuring out which one to try first. I chose the Angel Kisses and was able to sit in the living room with hubby and Abby while I painted my nails. Sure, litte miss curious had to see what mommy was doing but I didn’t have to worry about her breathing in any toxic polish fumes. Since I’m not the greatest when it comes to painting my nails, I was actually thrilled to find the Application Instructions included with my polishes. Of course I know the basics but the instructions give the helpful hint that for maximum chip resistance, blow dry polished nails for 1-2 mins with hair dryer set on warm/low. Within just 60 seconds my pretty nails were dry and I didn’t have to worry about Abby grabbing my toes and messing anything up. This quick dry time is perfect for someone as busy as I am.
