P&G and Walmart have partnered together to bring us wonderful made for TV family movies such as Truth be Told, A Walk in My Shoes and Change of Plans. Well, P&G and Walmart are at it again, this time with Field of Vision which premieres this Saturday, June 11th, at 8pm EST/ 7pm CST. I have always enjoyed family movie night and I’m looking forward to sitting down with hubby to enjoy Field of Vision.
After viewing this movie I had to call my mom and suggest that she tune in for it Saturday night. She has worked with students for years now and I know this will be a movie she will enjoy. I highly recommend this movie to any parent with children in middle/high school, especially parents of children who play team sports. Field of Vision has a wonderful message and its a great movie to sit down together to watch and even talk about together.
Sometimes being a leader is tougher than winning
Through mysterious footage captured on an old malfunctioning video camera, Sinclair High School’s star quarterback, Tyler McFarland, learns that some of his teammates have been bullying Cory Walker, a troubled new transfer student. Aware that sharing this information with the coach might get his friends kicked off the team and ultimately cost the school the state championship, Tyler must choose what’s more important: winning or doing what’s right. As these events unfold, the camera also reveals more surprising footage to Tyler’s kid sister Lucy. She learns that Cory has a secret past, unknown even to him. Now Lucy must convince her mom (Faith Ford, Murphy Brown) and family that the camera’s revealing insight is not a product of her imagination as she enlists their help to find the answers Cory so desperately needs. It’s a compelling and intriguing story that shows both the challenges and rewards of doing the right thing even when it’s tough to do.
Field of Vision Trailer:
I have our DVR set and the snacks ready for Saturday night, I hope you make plans to tune in as well and watch this remarkable movie. And after the movie, turn off the TV for awhile, put away the phones and laptops and have a nice chat with your children about the message behind Field of Vision. Ask them what their thoughts and opinions are and maybe see things through their eyes for a few. You never know what you might learn 🙂
