During all the crazy scheduling of our family photo shoots and mini modeling sessions for Abby, my mind suddenly wandered off to a fun mini shoot we took part in last year. It was a mini football session, everyone was invited to support their teams of choice so of course we decked out for LSU (all hubby’s idea I promise lol). I even went on a major ebay search for a cute little LSU outfit for Abby, here in Arkansas its like trying to find a needle in a haystack when trying to find LSU attire or memoribilla. Her outfit arrived, we managed to find shirts for both hubby and myself, we gathered up a few fun items to include in the pictures and we were all set.
The mini shoot was fun, it was my first mini shoot experience and I truly enjoyed watching my little girl ham it up for the camera. We were thrilled with the pictures the photography posted on Facebook, couldn’t wait to see the rest. Hubby even set one as the screensaver on his phone and I like to change my profile picture to one of Abby in her LSU outfit on game days.
As I’ve uploaded pictures from recent shoots (and after the big game last weekend) I suddenly realized that I don’t have the pictures from the LSU shoot. Between the storms and all the moving, I honestly had no idea where that disc ended up and the only pictures on my computer were the two from the photographer’s Facebook page. I know the photographer recently had a new mini football shoot (unfortunately we didn’t get to participate this year, Abby still doesn’t have a new LSU outfit/bow to show off) and I wondered if she might still have our pictures. A quick message through Facebook and I had my answer, she luckily did still have all the pictures from our session and could easily add them to the disc with our fall pictures! I was beyond thrilled, I knew these pictures meant a lot to hubby and now I can surprise him by having a few printed to display in the house (and to drive my mom crazy when LSU plays AR!). Here’s a few of our favorites:
My lil sweetie was so little!! My little baby….oh goodness how much she has grown! (into a rotten lil toddler lol). I already have big plans for a few of these, I even know which frames I’m going to put them in. Maybe I’ll even have new, recent ones to compare them to 🙂 We have an outfit being made for Abby and I know I’ll have to get some pictures done to show it off.
Geaux Tigers!! 9-0!!
Aww, they are really great!
Awesome! Go LSU my hometown! Thank you for the giveaway also!
