To help change things up a little bit I decided to try something a little different. I came across this recipe and it sounded super easy. For me it was a tiny step up because it required a little more work, before making this I had never cut an onion! Shortly after getting everything in the crock-pot we had to leave to run errands, when we got home the house smelled AMAZING! Hubby told me that if it tasted even half as good as it smelled it would be a keeper. Turns out it tasted just as good and this one has a new home in my recipe book.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 4-8 hours depending on setting
Serves: 2-3
ingredients:
- 4 Frozen Boneless Chicken Breasts – Thawed
- 1/2 of an onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups of water,
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- black pepper
- McCormick Perfect Pinch Garlic & Herb Seasoning
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock-pot,
- Add the sliced onion, butter and water,
- Add salt and pepper (I gave the pepper just a few quick shakes),
- Add the Garlic & Herb seasoning (I gave the bottle several good shakes),
- Cover and Cook, 4 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on LOW
