Everywhere I turn on Facebook, the internet, blogs, all I see are posts about Black Friday Sales. Honestly, it’s a bit annoying but I’ll save that for another post 🙂 I know it’s just that time of year and many look forward to the “busiest/biggest shopping day of the year” but I for one simply cannot handle the crazy crowds. Usually I sit in the comfort of my home and shop online during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. However, last year I started a new tradition for myself and it’s one I love to share with others. While I do shop all the major stores I also shop for unique, personal gifts and the best place to find those are small businesses/boutiques. That’s why I shop Small Business Saturday! Saturday November 24th is Shop Small Business Saturday and it’s a wonderful opportunity to support all these wonderful, amazing small businesses! I have so many favorite boutiques that I shop with throughout the year and I love to support. Not only will I be shopping Saturday to support all my favorite small businesses, I also want to share several of my favorites with you and encourage you to not only check out these great boutiques but take time on Saturday to shop your local small businesses, help support these great people and you never know what fantastic gifts/treasures you will find!
Today’s Featured Boutique is Bethany’s 5!
Bethany’s 5 is also one of my wonderful blog sponsors and her boutique is filled with so many amazing items! Bethany’s Five offers custom costumes and props and is definitely one of my favorite places to shop now that I’m trying to expand my prop selection for my photography. She offers adorable hat w/diaper cover sets, blankets, bonnets, costumes and holiday props. Her hats, bonnets and diaper cover sets are absolutely precious and make the cutest props for newborn pictures! I think I have a wish list a mile long! With the holidays literally sneaking up on me quick I have really been eyeing some of her holiday props, with a little nephew on the way and lots of friends with newborns I just know some of these will come in handy and help me create adorable Christmas pictures. Here are a few of my favorites (*please note images are borrowed from her page with permission, all images belong to Bethany’s 5):
