Along with this surgery comes the dreadful challenge of trying to find a new bra. Of course I can’t wear one at all right now due to the location of my incision but the nurse advised me that even when I’m healed enough to wear one I’m not going to want to immediately wear an under wire. I’m going to want to find something comfortable like a casual sports bra, every day wire free bra, something that is very soft and comfortable that wouldn’t aggravate the incision area and cause more pain.
This is definitely going to be a difficult task for me… I have never been able to find a sports bra or wire-free bra that fits right and is comfortable and actually offers any kind of support.
Hello, my girls are not on the little side… Yes I have big TaTas lol and for some reason the only bras I can seem to find that have any hope of containing the girls and giving me support are under wire bras, which are usually not that comfortable. Now I’m faced with absolutely having to find something better. I’m not super thrilled because I hate feeling unsupported. It felt odd coming home bra free today! I never leave the house without a bra and now I can’t even wear one for several days/week so that’s going to be odd all within itself. I don’t plan to leave the house at all 🙂 But I can’t stay home nonstop so finding a bra now that I can actually wear is a must.
I don’t even know where to begin, I know which ones to avoid because I’ve tried them in the past and they have all be total failures. Any of my awesome readers or fellow bloggers have any suggestions? Sports bras, wire-free bras, something comfortable and soft! Probably something I should have already found but I guess with all the worry of the upcoming surgery this is one thing that slipped my mind until I was talking to my nurse today.
Time to go bra shopping… online for now 🙂
