When my package from Carmex arrived hubby actually laughed and teased me a bit. He wondered why they would send a hoodie when our weather was finally turning warm; I think it arrived the weekend we went to the Daffodil Festival when it was in the 80s and Abby wore a little sundress. Funny as he thought it was, I love hoodies and knew I would put it to good use. I was even more excited to discover the two lotions included! I love Carmex lotions and the two I received, the Everyday Hydrating Lotion and the Healing Cream, are definitely two of my favorites! With the warmer weather arriving that means time to bring out my flip flops and my feet definitely need the help of the Healing Cream. This weather wreaks havoc on my skin, especially my heels and elbows, and Carmex’s lotions are great for taking care of my skin.
One thing I really like about both of these lotions is that they are non-greasy and both have a pleasant scent. I use the Healing Cream the most, it’s for helping repair your driest, roughest skin and contains 9 healing ingredients, which makes it perfect for my elbows and heels/feet. For some crazy reason, the skin on my feet and heels gets really dry and cracked and pretty bad. Using this lotion just one day shows an improvement, I can really tell a difference and the driest parts are no longer so dry. Using it now for over a week has made a huge difference! I honestly keep forgetting to use the Everyday Hydrating Lotion, with us being so sick lately I really haven’t been using much lotion for my hands. The Everyday Hydrating Lotion is fast-absorbing and is for replenishing moisture for soft, smooth skin. I can’t wait to start using it, it will be great for not only my hands but also my arms and legs.
As for the hoodie, well as funny as hubby thought it was to receive it now I am beyond thrilled to have it! We had about two days of warm weather and then suddenly it turned super cold again! Cold as in 30s & 40s with sleet… yep, that hoodie definitely came in handy these past couple of days. Super warm and perfect for these “winter” like Spring days 🙂 Carmex had perfect timing when sending it!

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the bloggers who host giveaways and its so rude of folks to not follow the rules. The one mandiatory requirement was the comment on this post and yet mine was the first post but there were already 7 entries for this giveaway. Its not too much to do what the blog owners ask for these giveaways to help them out on their numbers so they can continue to offer quality giveaways.
thank you so much 🙂 It is frustrating when readers entering giveaways don’t follow through with what they say they do. Some don’t like on FB, others won’t follow on Twitter, and of course the ones that don’t leave comments yet say they do. I go through each entry and those that didn’t actually do something are disqualified. If it’s the mandatory entry they didn’t do, none of their entries count. It’s sad when a winner is selected only to be passed over simply because they didn’t actually comment/like/follow/etc.
the healing cream i have very dry skin and i’d love to try a new product
