Mother’s Day weekend Abby and I went to work with hubby to help him finish up a house before we went grocery shopping. Right before we left, I went to the backyard to take a few pictures of the gorgeous rose bush. Practicing different settings and shooting in manual is easiest with flowers (they don’t run around like hyper toddlers). While I took pictures, hubby cut a few flowers for me (my Mother’s Day flowers ♥) and Abby asked for a couple. She came running over to me waving those roses around yelling “mommy mommy, look! I picked you flowers!” I had the camera in the wrong settings to snap a picture of her but I did anyways, hoping I would capture the sweet moment. I snapped four really quick and out of four, I have one perfect (in my eyes) shot of my sweet daughter showing me the roses she picked for me for Mother’s Day. I absolutely love spur of the moment pictures that tell a story!
