As I prepare for my upcoming brain surgery, I realize that I want to make sure I don’t let my blog go silent while I recover. This is my favorite time of year and usually when I do quite a bit of sharing as the holidays arrive. I plan to work on several posts to schedule for while I’m away but have also decided I would like to find a few guest bloggers to feature. I have created a simple form for those interested to fill out and created what I feel to be an acceptable deadline since I need to have everything scheduled and ready to go before my surgery.
Since my surgery is at the end of September and my recovery will run into October, I’m thinking lots of fun Fall/Halloween themed guest posts. Please remember my blog is family friendly! Posts can be anything from recipes to crafts, DIY projects to fun things to do together as a family, fun decorating ideas, really just anything that will fit for this time of year. Even a fun wedding anniversary gift idea/things to do post would be acceptable since our anniversary is at the end of September (yes, I know, such a great way to celebrate).
Here is what I am looking for :
Deadline: Guest posts will need to be submitted to me no later than September 15th so I have time to get everything scheduled.
How: I created a form to fill out to hopefully make things easier. If you are interested simply fill out the form and I’ll contact you so we can discuss the post. Together we will pick a date to schedule the post.
Who: Bloggers, Boutique Owners, any Reader to be honest as long as the post is well written about a subject that fits with my blog. Newbies are welcome but please, make sure it is an actual well written post. *You are welcome to submit more than one guest post!
Topic: Posts need to be original, never before published. For topics I would prefer Fall and/or Halloween theme simply because of the time frame (September/October). Topic examples are Crafts/DIY, Decorating, Recipes, Fall Fun, Family, Toddler/Preschooler, even wedding anniversary themed posts will work since our anniversary falls in the time frame. As long as the topic is family friendly, I’ll consider it. You might come up with something that hasn’t even crossed my mind yet 🙂
Length: Posts need to be roughly 200-300 words and include at least one image.
**I like for the guest post to include a small writer bio at the bottom so my readers can get to know you! Links to your blog, your website, Twitter/Facebook, etc are welcome.
Please Fill Out This Form if interested.
*I will close the form either when I have plenty of guest bloggers or when the deadline to submit posts arrives.
Thank you in advance to those interested in submitting a guest post. Your help means a lot to me and will be so helpful during my days of recovery.
