Halloween is one of our favorite holidays and I have so much fun preparing fun treats and decorating the house. I’m especially excited since Abby is older this year and understands Trick or Treating a little more! She’s been walking around with her pumpkin for the past several days practicing and she’s really excited for her Halloween party at therapy.
With rain getting in the way of all our outdoor Halloween events, almost everything has been canceled and I wanted to find a fun way to bring Halloween into our home, I wanted a way for Abby to enjoy the holiday and have fun even with it pouring outside. Along with lots of yummy candy to enjoy, I wanted to make some super cute and spooky Halloween decor. I decided to experiment and see what all I could come up with to not only decorate the house with but also possibly create as cute gifts for friends and family.
Now, of course when you think Halloween you think of chocolate right?! Of course! So I just had to find a way to include awesome Hershey’s chocolate into my little craft experiments and gifts! My family absolutely loves Hershey’s chocolate, we each have our own favorite and I couldn’t wait to make fun crafts using all of our favorites.
Earlier in the week Abby had fun painting pumpkins and I thought giving one of her pumpkins to her Mimi as a cute Halloween gift. Since her Mimi is a teacher I decided to put a neat little spin on it. I decided to create something neat that her Mimi could keep on her desk at school and even give her students a Halloween treat after class. I took one of Abby’s painted pumpkins and created a cute Pumpkin Sucker Holder!

After the Pumpkin Sucker Holder, I really started having fun experimenting! I came up with a few spooky treats, the Hershey’s Bar Mummies and the Hershey’s Bar & Kit Kats Spiders! I love how everything turned out and will be sending several with Abby to therapy on Halloween for her to share! Not only do I have fun treats to share but now I have a super cute Halloween Party display (I’ll have to make another pumpkin sucker holder now)!
