I was so excited when my friend mentioned an upcoming daddy/daughter dance at her church, I knew this was a special night I wanted Abby to get to have with her daddy. Tickets were purchased, we went dress shopping, I even sat up all night looking up ideas/tips/tricks to fixing a three year old’s hair all nice and pretty (this was a must since Abby hates for me to fix her hair). I even sent Hubby to Walmart at 2AM just to purchase a curling wand for me to use.
The dance was the first weekend of February, I’m a little late posting but I just have to share a few pictures from their special night out.
They got to have their picture taken together, enjoy a nice dinner and then have fun dancing the night away. Abby did fantastic considering it was loud music. I got the text to pick them up kinda early, she didn’t like the music all that much but when I got there I convinced her to go back inside and she got to have her first daddy/daughter dance!
This was their first daddy/daughter dance and I’m so glad they got the chance to create these wonderful memories. Can’t wait to find more stuff for them to enjoy together. This was also Abby’s first big girl dress, first time curling her hair and her very first little corsage!! Yes, I teared up just a bit. My baby girl is growing up so fast!

They had a wonderful time and it was definitely a very special, magical night for them! Abby is still telling everyone all about the dance and her pretty dress 🙂
Her curls came out so pretty and that wrist corsage is adorable! I wish there were more events like this for younger girls!
Your daughter has beautiful hair. This is so sweet i miss my father
How cute! I really wish they did something like that around here. But I swear people are allergic to their kids in this town (long story lol)
That’s so cute! My daughter would enjoy doing something like that with her daddy.
She is absolutely gorgeous, You can tell how much they love one another. I love when Churches and schools have dances/days like this…. It really creates such amazing memories for everyone involved.
