Budget Friendly Decorations
I love decorating for all holidays, setting out fun little items that make the home more cheerful and inviting. I also like to keep my decorating budget friendly so I look for fun ways to save. From finding things second hand to just making it myself! This time, I went looking for fun Easter decorations and ended up at Dollar Tree where I might not have found the exact items I wanted but found the perfect items to create something unique!
Looking for Something Specific
Dollar Tree has a great selection of Easter decorations and I had a hard time narrowing down what I really wanted. I did pick up a few pieces to use as is but I had a centerpiece idea in mind and could not find what I wanted. So I gathered up supplies to just make it myself!
I grabbed this plastic bucket to hold everything, I had a completely different idea in mind but could not find what I needed so I settled on this. No worries, it’s getting a makeover.
Then I found this adorable Easter egg sign. There were a few different versions but I like this one the most because of the flowers.
I had a few flowers at first then found these Glitter Berries in fun Easter colors.
I grabbed a few foams to stick everything in and some grass…. oh that grass was a mistake but nevermind that right now hahaha
Time for a Little DIY Fun
Once we got home, I got started right away. I couldn’t wait to see how my idea turned out.
First thing was to give that bucket a makeover. I’m not a fan of brown…
Now the easy part, just putting it all together.
The Easter Egg went in the center as the main attraction and then I cut the “berries” into single branches to make it easier to get a more random, colorful look.
Then I attempted to add the grass. TIP: Skip the grass!! Get something else.
My super easy Dollar Tree Easter Centerpiece.
I love how it turned out and can’t wait to decorate with it.
